Not quite there yet…

Good guesses all around, but, alas, no one has hit the nail on the head (just yet).  Since I have been pleaded with by so many, I will give one more hint:

As you know, we are sticklers for following the cultural aspects of a name.  We don’t alter spellings or modernize.  Well, with one exception:  we don’t pronounce Caitlin’s exactly as it would be pronounced in the, er, homeland (many generations ago).   Kelsey’s now has an Icelandic lilt to it when spoken, but one must hear it to appreciate.

So, if you remember what part of our heritage inspired the names for
our first two ‘wee’ ones, you will be on the right track for Peanut’s
name.  IF I get my way…but only time will tell.

Otherwise, back to the starting gate….and middle names?  Not a clue! I have toyed with the notion of using an Icelandic middle name as a reminder of our times here…yeah or nay?
